With six thousand guests on site for a Christian Festival, the organisers chose a Victorian Faire as the theme for the weeks entertainment break and AHOH was delighted to provide our unique Victorian Circus Workshop, with handcrafted replicas and original Victorian games and play equipment it proved an great success as the guests had a go at juggling, spinning tops, hoops, kites, hoopla, skipping ropes, Indian clubs and horsehoe games.

Exactly what we wanted! loved the fun games and the wooden juggling equipment, it really added to the event! Thank you!

We were delighted to be the surprise gift for the Bride on her very special Day, both she and her children are the most enormous fans of Hugh Jackman and his incredible film so when the Brides mother found that Hugh could not make it to the wedding she arranged for the very next best thing ! Huge Jackman and The Greatest Show on Turf! .

A surprise entry caught her unawares and the tears of delight and screams of laughter filled the reception venue as with the help of Russell Wells , we put on a Circus Cabaret show of magic, hula hoops, tricks, whips and unicycling that also featured two of her children and a cast of thousands!

It was just perfect! I could not of asked for more! my daughter and her children cannot stop talking about the show and the joy you brought to the party. Thank you!

And Senor “Juan Dip” Buble from Copacabana Beach was there to join in the parade , this time he got to be the vanguard entertainer to warm the already hot crowd up as this year, The parade was over two hours long with floats , walkers and entertainers from all over the country taking full advantage of the amazing weather to celebrate Poerthcawkl being “ By the Sea” With his travelling bubble workshops, musical bubble trike and impromptu dance classes he had the thousands of fans who lined the route cheering for more.

and finished off the day with Circus and Play Workshop for all the family.

Thank you ! that was superb, your interaction with the crowds was fanatstic and they loved the family workshop which has made what was an underused area of the showground one of the most popular spots for families.

We were delighted to join the residents of prettiest village in the Vale of Glamorgan to celebrate their Summer Fete once again, this year the theme was “All around the World “ and our samba dancing bubble champion led the parade on a picture perfect day past centuries old cottages to the Village Green where he had set up our Circus and Play Workshop that is designed to appeal to all ages and it was enjoyed by one and all.

With lasso spinning, lariat throwing , whip cracking, target cracking, gun spinning, fast draw, Colt 45 shooting, Winchester target range and card sharp throwing proving to be the most popular activities on offer during a very busy day at a great venue that was blessed with superb weather, it certainly was a high noon this June!

Dah, dah, dah, dah, da dah! Third enquiry this month ( one for a gig in Nice! Nice! ) for fun corporate energisers that came about from Peters' passion in trying to find out how on earth you do this stuff!

Lessons from professional locksmiths followed and then he held workshops for fellow performers, friends and for fun at juggling conventions. 

That now means we can offer large group workshops with a series of experienced Tutors or one to one training for that want to be spy...

So spoke the stupendous Samantha Martin , alternative model and muse who we had the pleasure of helping celebrating her birthday with thanks to Upside Down Circus at their new circus training centre in Cardiff.  Knifethrowing, whip cracking, Winchester rifle target range, gun spinning, blank firing Colt 45's , card sharp throwing, lasso spinning, lariat throwing and axe throwing were just some of the fun Western Skills we taught in a fun afternoon

Queen Victoria would have approved of the latest addition to our range of quality Circus Workshops " The Victoriana", perfect with a slice of cake and a cup of tea.

It made it's debut in the National Museum of Wales at St Fagans working with No Fit State Circus,  where we provided period perfect entertainment in the the charming surroundings of some of the most glorious examples of Welsh Victorian and Edwardian architecture .

Accompanied by our very own Victorian Ringmeister this eclectic collection of vintage bygone circus props accompanied with some more slightly more modern (and easier) toys and tricks introduced a thrilled group of adults and children to the joys of juggling vintage wooden juggling balls , wooden diablo, yoyos, dragons tails, cups and balls, spinning hoops, Japanese cups and balls, spinning tops, spinning plates and all the fun of the circus in a steamer trunk of circus fun.

They do now! A Wild West Whirlwind descended on the famous Follifoot Farm Stables to train up the "players" in a TV commercial , with thirty willing cowboys and cowgirls we soon had them cracking whips, throwing lariats and spinning lassos!

Celebrating the 250th Birthday of the birth of circus as we know it, Wick in the Vale of Galmorgan held a splendiferous Fete to enjoy the pleasures of a Circus and Play Workshop with A Handful of Hats with juggling, plate spinning, diablos, unicycles, pedalgos, dragons' tails, cup and ball, Kendama, plate manipulation and even some whip cracking too!

Enormous fun was had at a packed Pontyclun Rugby Club to raise funds for a local Welsh medium school. A Handful of Hats were in the middle of it all with their unique Circus and Play Workshop with two seperate size/age related areas so that all can enjoy the fun of the circus with traditional juggling workshops alongside fun and games for the smaller ones., Oh! and bubbles of course!

Logy Logan, one of Irelands finest circus street performers called in to stay with us at A Handful of Hats in sunny Barrybados for a weeks Arts Council approved whip refresher training with our very own European Master whip trainer and international award winning whip performer. Logy was on his way back from the Western Australian Circus Festival and wanted to prepare for a fully packed summer of events, shows and festivals around the world, by honing his already considerable skills and to work on some unique new stunts and tricks. It was an enormous pleasure and great a fun to work with such a dedicated professional who took to Peters' unique teaching methods very well, (he shouts a lot ... )
